I also mentioned the work of Immanuel Velikovsky, and perhaps the most ardent proponent today of Velikovsky’s theories of Catastrophism is David Tallbot. These theories propose that the sky of the past was very different from today and is reflected in the symbolism of our forebears, which seems to have no corollary today. This video is a good introduction to these ideas.
