The following graph shows very clearly how weak the currently concluding sunspot cycle has been.
The peak in this cycle has been less than half of that seen in Cycle 21, dated 1976.
And if you have been watching, it’s as if the sunspots get shy when they become Earth facing, which is exactly the phenomenon reported during the Maunder Minimum, when there was skating on the Thames.
So, if you live near London, time to get your skates out and sharpened… It’s about to get significantly cooler.
