Whilst I’m on the subject of important books (thanks, Nods), in this interview, Abby Martin speaks with NYU media studies professor, Mark Crispin Miller, about five historical books that have been actively suppressed and hidden from the American public. The books are:

The Phoenix Program – Douglas Valentine

The Lords of Creation – Frederick Lewis Allen

Blowback – Christopher Simpson

Underground to Palestine – I.F.Stone

Hidden History of the Korean War – I.F.Stone

DuPont Dynasty, Behind the Nylon Curtain – Gerard Colby

In the above interview, Mark indicates there are more books to come and, true to his word, more have been added. Exciting work.

The Phoenix Program, for example, discusses a project during the Vietnam War, which looks to be the trial run for the War on Terror, the development of the DHS and the transformation of the US domestic police into a domestic military force that we see today, a rollout not just in the United States but globally.
