‘Magicians of the Gods’, snapshots of a work in progress

This is a typically wonderful presentation by Graham Hancock on some of the work he has done in preparation for his pending update to “Fingerprints of the Gods”, to be called ‘Magicians of the Gods’. I quote from the webpage:

In late 2015 Graham Hancock will bring out his new book, ‘Magicians of the Gods’, the sequel to his worldwide bestseller ‘Fingerprints of the Gods’. In this lecture, recorded in March 2014 for Alternatives London at Saint James’s Church in Piccadilly, he reviews his past work and shares some of the research for the new book.

The evidence is now undeniable that an advanced human civilisation or civilisations pre-dated our current civilisation and, for all intents and purposes, the last of it disappeared some 12,980 years ago, courtesy of the debris from a comet striking the Earth.

Mainstream archaeology has been in complete denial of this.

If I understand Graham’s position correctly, he feels this is essentially due to the inevitable, strident defence of existing views and understandings. I see the reasons for this denial as being more deliberate and sinister, created in a similar manner as Darwinism has been sold to us as the entire answer to the presence of life on Earth, and the “scientific world view”, as Rupert Sheldrake calls it. These both have been created for the clear purpose of distracting us from looking at the reality of life more deeply and, in my view, modern archaeology serves a similar purpose.

Either way, I thank Graham for his extraordinary, painstaking and thoroughly professional work and the understandings he shares with us as a result. I commend his presentation to you.
