Thank you, Molly, for reminding me of this video. It does a great job of showing how the key stories about 9/11 were locked in place in the first hour after the bombing of the WTC.
I would add one key piece as to why this information went into people’s minds without the usual filters in place, and this I have mentioned before – the susceptibility to this process created by the trauma of the attack. I have mentioned before my trigger to people born before about 1956, when I ask them what they were doing when they heard JFK had been assassinated. They ALWAYS know, and it’s the same thing here.
