This piece from the Irish Savant illustrates how the agenda is driven:
A drunken mob leaves a Croydon pub (ironically named The Goat) and beats up three passers-by. Now maybe I was reared hard but this does not seem like a story to make headline news. And make headline news it did, front-paging The Guardian, The Sun, The Telegraph and was briefly the lead on the BBC and Sky “news” channels. In fact, believe it or not, Britain’s Prime Minister got involved, describing the attack as “utterly despicable”. Which indeed it was. But in enriched areas of London (and today that means most of the city) shootings, stabbings and mass brawls are par for the course. According to Wikipedia in 2008–09 (latest available figures quoted) there were no fewer than 70,962 assault with injury offences in London.
So….enquiring minds want to know what made this particular assault if not one in a million at least one in 70,962. The explanation lies with the victims who in this case represented the most protected species on the planet, on a par with the lesser spotted barn owl and leatherback sea turtle: Muslim ‘asylum’ seekers. It’s not too much of a stretch to suggest that the attackers were primarily native British – what Tom Wolfe called The Great White Defendants. Glittering careers beckon for the law officers who track them down and for the judges who put them away for a long, long time.
Then again the Great White Defendants might be lucky. Like the Somali girl gang who kicked an English girl in the head while yelling ‘kill the white slag’. They got off with a warning.

There are, perhaps, hundreds of examples daily in the media.
Most people soon accept the meme as true and move on. This is done continuously and has been for at least 100 years in the press, maybe much more.
Until enough people understand and reject it, the process will continue to define the reality we live inside.
