After securing a ‘no’ vote at Greek referendum on bailout, Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis resigned, saying it would help Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras negotiate a better deal with foreign creditors.

End of quote.

In my opinion, we are seeing the real power in Greece and elsewhere beginning to be revealed. This RT video on the resignation has a lot of insights in it. It is not the first to speak of a bail-in similar to what we saw in Cyprus, where the banks confiscate the funds of their depositors on some formulaic basis (you may recall, most countries now have such legislation in place to allow this). And as I shared with you a couple of days ago, Varoufakis understands the banking system and how it works.

And the banksters will not take this referendum result lying down.

In my view, life is about to get a lot more difficult for the Greek people.

It is hard to say where it will end. The Greeks are a proud, passionate people. A people’s uprising may unfold, most likely followed by a massive military/police crackdown. If so, then what?

It will be an interesting few weeks.
