It has been said that history is written by the victors but, in my view, this is only the beginning. In truth, history is continuously adjusted to reflect the views of the current power elite, who at a government level are simply reflecting the agenda of those behind the scenes.
Whilst this revisionism has seen a level of push-back over time, as this action in Texas demonstrates, the protest action by students in several Denver schools seems to me to be a new and exciting phenomenon. They may not make a difference, but they demonstrate that they see what is going on and they will not simply swallow it. May it be a sign that people are waking up to the carefully constructed dream they are inside of.
