The smartphone application Star Walk shows the sun over Galactic Centre at the coming December solstice, which the Long Count Mayan Calendar ending in December 2012 was pointing to.
And as Graham Hancock shares with us in his new book Magicians of the Gods: The Forgotten Wisdom of Earth’s Lost Civilization, a stela from Göbekli Tepe in Turkey also pointed to it; a stela that was buried some 12,000 years ago.
And there are many other examples of our ancestors pointing to this event and the importance of the Precession of the Equinoxes to the human experience, none so definitively as old as this one from Gobekli Tepe.
Why were our ancestors pointing to this time (a span of 50-80 years that we are currently in the middle of) from so long ago, and why is this knowledge so carefully hidden from us? What did they know that we don’t? And this occurs only every 25,920 years.
More on this in due course.
Have a wonderful December Solstice.
