Blimplike surveillance craft set to deploy over Maryland heighten privacy concerns

They will look like two giant white blimps floating high above I-95 in Maryland, perhaps en route to a football game somewhere along the bustling Eastern Seaboard. But their mission will have nothing to do with sports and everything to do with war.

FW: David Icke Dot-Connector – EP5 discusses “Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars” – on The People’s Voice

This video has unfortunately been deleted, hopefully to return; however, the previous episode, which covers amazing material recalled by a paediatrician in about 1990 from a presentation he attended in 1969, which I also shared on my blog, is just as important. If the Episode below is reposted I will let you know.

In this video, David Icke discusses “Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars”, a document I have previously shared with you.

David discusses this and its impact upon us with great clarity. Now, if you are too busy with work, family, your favourite television programme, sport or whatever occupies your life to watch it, then this is EXACTLY why you should put aside an hour and do so. But be warned. You run a serious risk of getting to understand how your world works, why and who runs it – and then you can no longer say you didn’t know. Scary thought.

This eloquently sums up the Obama position on the NSA and Snowden:

Obama to Snowden: thanks for showing me the gaping hole we tore in the Constitution. Here’s a Band-Aid. Now please go to jail.

Pentagon arming US police with MRAP combat vehicles

If you carry your fair share of years like me, you will remember the days when the police wore short sleeve blue shirts, might have even been unarmed and perhaps even where you encouraged your children to go if they got lost…

This scenario is a long, long way from that.

Truth about the Séralini rat-tumor-GMO study explodes

Jon Rappoport discusses the double standards in handling of Séralini’s rat tumour experiments far more eloquently than I could begin to. It was OK for Monsanto to use those same rats and the same sample size years before and have the results published – but not when Séralini replicated their work, ran it for longer and got a different outcome. But the gun has been fired and it is smoking.

As I discussed in this article, there was an outcry from scientists when the Seralini paper was withdrawn, and it was also pointed out that ex-Monsanto employee Richard Goodman was appointed to the newly created post of associate editor for biotechnology at FCT, the publisher. This is how they play the game. It’s how the FDA was willing to introduce the “doctrine of substantial equivalence” back in Bush Snr’s Presidency. Yep, GMO and ordinary grains are the same. Let’s just allow them to flow unfettered into the American food chain with no testing. And it continues to today.

What Jon does mention is the European Commission is spending 3 million Euros to actually do that Séralini study again, run it for two years, use 50 or more rats and look at the carcinogenicity. The lid will not be kept on these processes to reduce the population through unhealthy grain and all of the fast food and pre-packaged products that contain them. At the very least, the truth will out if not lives saved. And perhaps the games played with wheat that precede what is considered GMO that I discuss here will also come forth. You begin to get very selective about what you eat when you understand these things.

Is our Sun falling silent?

Thank you, Graham.

Well, well, well. The good old Beeb Beeb Ceeb has reported the solar shutdown. Not only that, it mentioned the Maunder Minimum. Don’t they know it’s politically incorrect to mention EITHER of these things?

I quote:

“It’s completely taken me and many other solar scientists by surprise,” says Dr Lucie Green, from University College London’s Mullard Space Science Laboratory.

The drop off in activity is happening surprisingly quickly, and scientists are now watching closely to see if it will continue to plummet.

“It could mean a very, very inactive star, it would feel like the Sun is asleep… a very dormant ball of gas at the centre of our Solar System,” explains Dr Green.

This, though, would certainly not be the first time this has happened.

During the latter half of the 17th Century, the Sun went through an extremely quiet phase – a period called the Maunder Minimum.

Historical records reveal that sunspots virtually disappeared during this time.

Dr Green says: “There is a very strong hint that the Sun is acting in the same way now as it did in the run-up to the Maunder Minimum.”

Mike Lockwood, professor of space environment physics, from the University of Reading, thinks there is a significant chance that the Sun could become increasingly quiet.

An analysis of ice-cores, which hold a long-term record of solar activity, suggests the decline in activity is the fastest that has been seen in 10,000 years.

“It’s an unusually rapid decline,” explains Prof Lockwood.

Londoners enjoyed frost fairs on the Thames in the 17th Century

“We estimate that within about 40 years or so there is a 10% to 20% – nearer 20% – probability that we’ll be back in Maunder Minimum conditions.”

The era of solar inactivity in the 17th Century coincided with a period of bitterly cold winters in Europe.

Londoners enjoyed frost fairs on the Thames after it froze over, snow cover across the continent increased, the Baltic Sea iced over – the conditions were so harsh, some describe it as a mini-Ice Age.

And Prof Lockwood believes that this regional effect could have been in part driven by the dearth of activity on the Sun, and may happen again if our star continues to wane.

End of quote.

No doubt our global warming “experts” will continue to explain it away…

Obama’s NSA announcements and the reactions to it

Well, I think it’s fair to say that the reaction of those who know and understand what is going on in the surveillance state in which we find ourselves are underwhelmed or indeed highly cynical of Obama’s speech on changes to the NSA surveillance that he delivered on Friday.

Here’s how the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) rated it.

The comments by Daniel Ellsberg, the man who brought us the Pentagon Papers are worth hearing.

Unsurprisingly, Julian Assange has given us his pithy perspective, along with Abby Martin on RT, and Jon Rappoport has weighed in here and here.

In simple terms, it’s business as usual at the NSA. What really has been achieved is that the NSA and Obama can claim that they have made changes in response to the criticism that all is not well, when nothing could be further from the truth. This has all been going on a lot longer than any reaction to that false flag event called 9/11 encompasses; rather it has simply become more comprehensive. George Orwell warned us about all of this long ago. It is the surveillance state being put in place globally, and no amount of protestation or exposure will see it go away. Indeed, the survival of it all in the face of this exposure is perhaps the outcome long planned. More than one has suggested that the entire Snowden exercise was planned to be this way from the beginning, including Steve Pieczenik at the very outset of it all – and he has way more insight into these games than any of us are likely to gather in several lifetimes.

So where does this leave us?

For me, as I’ve said, nothing short of a complete shift in human understanding of who and what we are and are about will change this in any meaningful way. May it be so – and soon.

Snowden and the final purpose of the Surveillance State – Jon Rappoport

Here is a sobering post from Jon about the likely unfolding of the NSA debate.

Here a few words from his article:

Meanwhile, the NSA and the Surveillance State continue on. They weather the storm. Despite the exploding scandal and the fall-out, and even though certain modes of collecting information may be reduced, new strategies emerge.

Therefore, the Surveillance State becomes even more powerful than it was.

Snowden rocked the boat, but the boat has been repaired. It sails on with even greater assurance.

JSoc: Obama’s secret assassins

Thank you, Graham.

This article discusses America’s secret war. I quote:

The film Dirty Wars, which premiered at Sundance, can be viewed, as Amy Goodman sees it, as an important narrative of excesses in the global “war on terror”. It is also a record of something scary for those of us at home – and uncovers the biggest story, I would say, in our nation’s contemporary history.

Though they wisely refrain from drawing inferences, Scahill and Rowley have uncovered the facts of a new unaccountable power in America and the world that has the potential to shape domestic and international events in an unprecedented way. The film tracks the Joint Special Operations Command (JSoc), a network of highly-trained, completely unaccountable US assassins, armed with ever-expanding “kill lists”. It was JSoc that ran the operation behind the Navy Seal team six that killed bin Laden (who we know was already dead in 2001 – Richard).

Scahill and Rowley track this new model of US warfare that strikes at civilians and insurgents alike – in 70 countries. They interview former JSoc assassins, who are shell-shocked at how the “kill lists” they are given keep expanding, even as they eliminate more and more people.

End of quote.

You can watch Dirty Wars here. It runs about 90 minutes. It is an extraordinary expose into just where the phony war on terror has reached, and how seemingly indiscriminate its attacks have become, no doubt driven by the underlying resources in the targeted countries. It flushes away any sense you might have that there’s any place left in the world for you to hide from this. And it will flush away forever any sense you may harbour that Obama is any better than GWB was.
